Alexander Anatolievich LUBYAKO, Dr.Ph. in biology, Russian, was born in 1951 in Moscow.
Education: Graduated from the Medical College of the Russian Academy of medical sciences in 1974, Political University in 1978, Biological faculty of the Moscow state Pedagogical Academy in 1984, Moscow Technical University named after N.Bauman in 1989.
Experience: From 1971 to 1988, he worked in the Scientific and Research Institute of Transplantology and Artificial Organs (director professor V.Shumakov, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) and of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (RAMS), Moscow, Russia). In 1988-1991 headed the Laboratory of Applied Cardiosurgery in Scientific and Research Institute of Cardiology (director professor V.Almazov, academician of the (RAMS), St.-Petersburg, Russia). In 1991-1999 General Director of Church Medical Center of Russia. In 1997-2000 headed the Laboratory of Pathologic Physiology and Experimental medicine (Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, Director - Prof. Dr. K.D.R. Nickel). Now is the leader of a personal scientific group of Prof. Dr. Igor D. Kirpatovsky of Russian Academy of Medical Science and General Director or Scientific Clinical Center of Neuroendocrine Transplantology.
Honors and distinctions: Dr.Sci.Biol., full member of the Russian Geographical Society of RAS since 1977, General director of the Church Medical Centre of Russia since 1991, Chairman of the Commission of Medicobiological and Ecological-psychological problems of the Russian Geographical Society of RAS since 1996, Chairman of the Church Medical Centre of Europe since 1997. Full member of the Upervolga Engineering Academy since 1999 (the President professor P.Vyazovchenko, academician, Tver, Russia), Chairman of the Section of Medicobiological and Natural Sciences and member of Presidium of this Academy.
Publications: Dr. A.Lubyako is the author of more than 100 scientific works including articles and reviews, a series of patents, methodical recommendations, and monographs dedicated to the problems of transplantology, organotherapy, rehabilitation of organs and tissues, conservation of organs, normal and pathological physiology, cardiosurgery.
